Neurostructural Chiropractic improves your health!

“Degenerative changes begin to occur after 4 weeks of reduced mobility. That is why monthly spinal check-ups are essential.”

Preventive care is all about maintaining and taking care of your health. Your nervous system is so important as it plays a huge roll in keeping you healthy and feeling great! I can’t stress enough, it is so much easier to maintain the health of your spine at a young age rather than fix it later after months or even years of having an underlying issue.

Most of the time, people wait to see if a problem will go away on its own, in the meantime, degeneration in the spine is happening. We can check your phase on an X-ray, and one of the many reasons why we take an X-ray of your spine before you are adjusted.

Check out the stages of degeneration below.

  • Normal
  • Phase 1 – The disc starts to get smaller
  • Phase 2 – Bone starts to change shape
  • Phase 3 – NO disc left and it is bone on bone = OUCH and there is no hope of regeneration/healing to happen

“The ICPA believes every adult & child deserves chiropractic care. We believe in the value of a proactive approach to health, not merely the reactive treatment of diagnosed conditions. The intelligence of the body is capable of amazing things when given the chance.”

****With our neurologic scans & nervoscope reading we are able to find and show you problem areas before you can feel it!. The image is of a nerve and each of the 3 parts that make our bodies function. The part of the nerve that senses pain is less than 10%!!! That means that 90% of an underlying problem is happening without you feeling pain or that something is wrong!!!

Every spine is different so some may need to be checked sooner than every 4 weeks and some can last up to 6 weeks. It all depends what you do in between you adjustments. And thats a whole separate topic of how your spine goes out of place and puts pressure on the nerves and decreases function.

— At our office, we utilize the X-rays, nervous system scans, postural analysis and the nervoscope, which helps us track how your body is functioning. We are able to catch issues BEFORE they become a major problem.

— The nervoscope is used to measure heat and inflammation in your spine. When an area in your spine moves out of place, it will put pressure on your nerve in that area. The compression and inflammation of the nerve will alter the nerve’s function. After an adjustment helps get that area in your spine back to functioning and in the right place, the reading will go away and we know that we got everything out of your adjustment that you can. It is our pre and post check to your adjustment.

— Focusing on adjustments specifically to the nervous system helps you not only get feeling better as fast as possible but gets your body functioning at its best.

  • 1/4 lb. salami or soppressata diced
  • 1/4 lb. pepperoni diced
  • 1/4 cup provolone, thick-sliced diced
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta
  • 2/3 cup diced grape tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup banana peppers mild
  • 1/2 red onion sliced thin or diced

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1-2 tablespoons banana pepper juice from the jar to taste
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • freshly cracked pepper
  • salt to taste about 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Start by making the dressing. Combine all the dressing ingredients in a bowl or liquid measuring cup. Taste and adjust if needed**.
  2. In a large bowl combine all of the toppings: rotisserie chicken, diced deli meats*, red onion, tomatoes, banana peppers, and cheeses.
  3. Pour most the dressing over the bowl of toppings, toss well to coat, adding the remaining dressing if needed.
  4. Store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Serve with veggies, crackers or tortilla chips or on a sandwich.
  5. If you have dressing leftover, store it in a sealed container in the fridge and add it to the chicken salad the next day if needed to rehydrate it. Some of the dressing gets absorbed as it sits in the fridge.
