Healthy Chili

Homemade seasoning:

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Ingredients for Chili: 

  1. 1 lb 
  • Chicken
  • Bison
  • Ground Beef
  • Ground Turkey
  • OR No meat and replace with more vegetables
  1. 3 cans BEANS —(black beans, chili beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, pinto beans, lentils) ANY KIND YOU LIKE!!!
  2. Any amount of VEGGIES — Add butternut squash, sweet potato, any kind of pepper, onions, diced/stewed tomatoes 
  3. Tomato sauce ~ 30 oz

Directions:

  1. Ground/cook Meat 
  2. Add to crockpot with seasoning, beans, vegetables, tomato sauce.
  3. Cook until its warm! 
  4. Top with avocado or greek yogurt (substitute for sour cream)
