February 1st marked our 8th year anniversary for Balanced Health Chiropractic!
Oh my how time does fly by! I had a vision to open my own business right out of school and I just went for it with the help and support of my husband and family. I still can’t believe it some days. I appreciate all of my patients who make their health and well-being a priority in their lives and give me the opportunity to help you and your loved ones. Patients not only feel better but their bodies start to function at their best! We take pride in our detailed and specific care. I love helping you on your journey to be overall healthier.
We have had a location change and a few babies from the start of opening my business 8 years ago! Ajax is 7, Dyson is 3 and Ledger is 2. Ajax loves school, being with friends & family. He sure is still the best helper with the younger boys. He has been starting some basketball camps and ice fishing this winter! Dyson still loves food, paw patrol and wrestling with his brothers. Ledger is now our energizer bunny! He never stops unless he is sleeping. Loves jumping, runnings, playing catch and picking on his big brothers and wrestling.
Our family gets adjusted regularly and we see the benefits ourselves!
Thank you for being patient with me as we navigate crazy schedules and last minute changes our our family! I look forward to another year of helping all of you!
Are you looking for different opinions about your health?

Have you dealt with the same nagging issue over and over again? What would you do with your day/life if you didn’t have to deal with it anymore!!??⠀
Health is so much more than how you feel. It is about how your body functions! Are you able to move like you were once able to? Are you able to do all the hobbies that you love? Can you sit down and play with your kids or grandkids without being in pain? Or can you concentrate all day at work without having a headache or mid back pain? Do you have enough energy to get through your day?
Not all chiropractors are alike. Although they go by the same name, chiropractors today differ greatly. As a result, when patients go to different chiropractors they get different opinions, care provided, and results. This can be both confusing and frustrating. Let me tell you a little bit about what we do and our unique approach to health!
Here at our office, we don’t want to only focus on getting rid of your symptoms we are focused on —> CORRECTIVE CARE!!! We do a detailed exam and specific adjustments to correct the primary issue in your body causing you issues. Once these primary areas are corrected your body starts to not only feel better but function better!!
It’s not always about a quick fix. It’s about taking care of yourself now so your future self can continue to do the things you love to do. You get to really enjoy daily activities and hobbies that you were once unable. You get to really reach your true health potential and enjoy your new self!!
Patients not only feel better but their bodies are functioning at their best! We take pride in our detailed and specific care! I know you guys know because I explain what I am working on over and over so you can see what we are changing in your body!
Is there someone you think could benefit from my type of chiropractic care?
Blueberry Banana Sourdough Muffins

Banana Muffins are on repeat at our house. Ajax takes them for snacks every day and Ledger asks for one every morning before we have to leave the house. Dyson is not the biggest fan but I make him sourdough bagels and that’s probably his favorite food right now.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup Fresh or frozen blueberries
- 3 Very ripe bananas
- 1.5 Cup all-purpose flour
- 1 Cup sourdough starter
- 8 Ounces melted butter
- 3/4 Cup Brown sugar or maple sugar
- 1.5 Tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 Tsp Baking soda
INSTRUCTIONS
- These muffins can be started 4 to 8 hours before baking or the night before. I usually start them the night before and bake them in the morning.
- Begin melting the butter and let it cool slightly before adding it to the mixture. Mix together the flour, room temperature sourdough starter, bananas, sugar, butter, and vanilla. After mixing, cover, and let sit for 4 to 8 hours or overnight.
- After fermentation, preheat the oven to 350F.
- Add the remaining ingredients. Add the eggs, salt, frozen or fresh blueberries (save about 12 berries to top your muffins with just before baking), baking powder, and baking soda to the fermented batter and mix well.
- I used frozen blueberries. That way, when mixing the berries into your batter, they don’t become a mushy mess. Using frozen blueberries did not affect my cooking time.
- Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tins and add two or three bluenerries on top to get a beautiful bake.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean of batter.
- Allow the muffins to cool slightly before enjoying.
