The Importance of Preventative Care for Your Health

Preventative care is all about maintaining and taking care of your health. Your nervous system is so important as it plays a huge roll in keeping you healthy and feeling great! I can’t stress enough, it is so much easier to maintain the health of your spine rather than fix it later after months or even years of having an issue.

Most of the time, people wait to see if a problem will go away on its own, in the meantime degeneration in the spine is happening! Secondary Conditions or also called symptoms are the signs that something underneath isn’t working right. Don’t wait too long for it to create bigger issues!

****With our neurologic scans we are able to find problem areas before you can feel it!. The image is of a nerve and each of the 3 parts that make our bodies function. The part of the nerve that senses pain is less than 10%!!! That means that 90% of a problem is happening without you feeling pain or that something is wrong!!!

Dr. Casey’s Brussel Sprouts Recipe

#1 you need to get a cast iron skillet! I think this is what makes our veggies so tasty!

Ingredients

  • Brussel Sprouts
  • 3-6 pieces of bacon cut into pieces (or more if you love bacon!!!)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Extra add ins — asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato (any of your other favorite veggies)

Directions

  1. Cut up Brussel Sprouts into half pieces.
  2. Cut up bacon into bite sized pieces.
  3. Add Salt and Pepper
  4. Cook at 350-400 to your liking! I like them crispy!
  5. While its cooking, if you need more oil add in some olive oil. Sometimes the grease from the bacon is enough

**You can get creative and add in asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet/white potato too!

** Sometimes when we want to cheat and add a little bit of brown sugar at the end of cooking and it makes it soooooo good!
